Wheel of Time ancient symbol earrings - small

The classic yin/yang symbol is described in the books as the ancient symbol of the Aes Sedai: a b&w round disc with a sinuous line separating the colours. Separated, they are the dragon fang and the white flame. I've therefore made the earrings in both the ancient symbol and the separate symbols (check the latter out in the other listing). While not part of the description in the story, the book icons show the dragon flame with decoration so I've captured that too in a gorgeous marble acrylic. So are you a book purist or a lover of iconography? Despite these earrings being made because of my love of The Wheel of Time, they are subtle and are also just fun earrings so only people in the know will know. Like a secret handshake or the youthful face of an Aes Sedia 😉 I hope you love them, whether you're a fan of WoT or not!

The ancient symbol earrings are smaller (4cm) and come with or without contrasting silk tassels.

Designed, cut, and hand-assembled in Australia and New Zealand. I work hard to ensure that each design is to a high quality and in a condition I would wear, but given that each item is handmade, please be aware that there may be slight imperfections due to variations in acrylic thickness, fiddly pieces, and the nature of glue and resin. These imperfections are part of the charm of handmade jewellery. You'll walk away knowing you're wearing my art, and only a limited number of people can do the same.

Maintenance: Acrylic is a hardy plastic, but can break if dropped or get scratched. Scratches can occur during the manufacturing process of the acrylic or assembly of the design, but these aren't noticeable in most lights. This particular piece has narrow segments which are more fragile than solid designs. Handle with care and your necklace will last a lifetime :)

A range of postage options are available. For international locations not listed in the country options, please contact me. Any additional taxes must be paid by the buyer at customs. Items will be posted within 2-3 weeks (we send from Melbourne so times are tough right now!). Whimsy and Logic is committed to keeping our environmental impact to the minimum possible so we re-use packaging we got from our own purchases and postage is in an environmentally-friendly box/bag. We don't include a display box as we feel the foam padding and extra cardboard is not in keeping with our sustainability mission. Also, minimising packaging helps to keep postage costs down for everyone :) However, your item will be carefully protected to do its best to survive postage. Whimsy and Logic is not responsible for Australia Post, but we hope they do their best to make sure your parcel arrives, and in the condition in which we posted it.
